my first 2 scarfs and a kanvas I started forever ago and just finished ;)

Jeff the first purple scarf I finished in 2 weeks the second one in 5 days .. do u still think u won't be seeing ur snake! ;)

nooni I've just started knitting too .. first and second scarf means literally my first and second lol .. it's very easy .. u just have to master the needle hold in ur hands and ur set to go ;) I never tried crochet though! now that sounds hard .. that's why I never tried ;P
but you make it sound easy, so maybe I'll try that next ;)

kanava is very easy and more fun than knitting .. u get to think about what your doing and change colors more often. With knitting you just knit! all that's missing is a bunch of eggs to sit on lol ;) you really should try kanava, and you can ask them in Barakat, salmiya how it's done ;)
