The first picture is of a bag of banak .. it comes in a plastic bag in a paper bag .. the second is the actually banak .. the little one of the lower right hand side is broken in too and u can see the seed that’s inside ;)

Well since it’s picture time I might as well post the picture of my latest cat .. her name is Freya .. Freya was a goddess of some thing or another I forgot what ;) but I do remember Friday was named after her ..

This post and the comments on the previous one were very informative for me on banak! i still remember the banak men doing the grapes dance on it when i was a child so i didnt like it much, but later i ate it a bit until once my teeth hurt so i gave up on it.
Now i want to eat shway haha!

I’m here Jeffy, Brachy & bits I’m here ;D sorry I’m as usual late to comment even on my own blog lol .. but it seems I’ve been doing everything lately!!
I’m going shopping every day, I’m picking up old hobbies & refreshing other ones that I’ve never really left but had to slow down ;)
Next Tuesday I’m gonna be starting a month of field training which is the finale of school :P and most my cloths are casual so I have to shop for respectable working cloths lol .. any tips from the women out there Rabab? Belly?!! I’ve forgotten how to dress serious lol .. I’ve decided to train for it for a while so yesterday instead of my usual jeans I wore a skirt .. later on my brother pointed out that it’s still a jeans skirt lol .. mako fayda .. and later in the car I discovered that I do not fare well in a skirt .. I was trying to fix the skirt under me by pulling the front side UP!!!!! Loooool .. I almost fell down the seat laughing when I realized what I was doing .. my brothers advice was to refrain from skirt wearing all together but I ain’t giving up .. I will master this skirt wearing, if it’s the last thing I do ;)
I’m also reading like crazy .. that’s the old hobby that slowed down .. Memory & Desire; a double love story over a span of two generations during peace and war and all that .. ;)
And I’m knitting my first scarf ;) that’s an old hobby that never quit had the chance to materialize .. and I’m sewing a canvas with a picture of a little girl playing the piano, this one is almost finished ..
Not to mention retraining Anubis who is somewhat out of shape and training Freya who is totally out of shape, music downloading of course, I have to download at least 2 songs per day or I can’t rest easy ;P … lets see what else! Oh yeah .. I’m trying to pick up learning Spanish again .. but with all the rest I can’t seem to find the time lol ..
So next time u see me late commenting friends do not despair but know that I have not been able to put my knitting down ;) hehehe ..

Oh god Brachy my uncle used to do that .. eww .. I hate it lol .. besides I have not been able to master that particular technique and I don’t really want to lol .. I mean .. the front teeth!!! Ah .. no way .. just thinking about it gives my poor front teeth the creeps ;)

Sorry to hear about ur dog ;\ but I do think it’s time u moved on with something new .. how about a hamster lol .. there fun seriously .. I used to keep families of em .. hehe my favorite was called Mushki; mushk is mouse in Persian .. the “i” is “my” in Arabic .. so mushki is my mouse in 2 languages basically ;) get some hamsters .. I’ll help u with the naming ;P

Bits .. tell u what .. I’ll get u some banak .. I’ll even teach u how to eat it .. so next time there is a banak post u’ll know exactly what it is and u’ll even be able to show off with comments about it .. how about that? ;)
